Abstract
Aortic insufficiency is a cardiovascular pathology that is characterized by valve incompetence that leads to reflux into the left ventricle during diastole. Throughout history several authors have made semiological descriptions to better understand the symptoms of this pathology. Among them, we have the Musset Sign which is characterized by a rhythmic movement of the head simultaneous to cardiac pulsations, which is an indicator of aortic regurgitation and has been used today as an eponym in the specialty of cardiology for clinical examination of this disease. In addition, there are a variety of signs that have been discovered in different patients with this pathology. It is important to know and identify them in order to better understand the history and clinic of aortic insufficiency.
