Introduction: The development of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI), such as ChatGPT, has opened new possibilities in medical education, thanks to its accessibility and ease of use, becoming a valuable support tool for teaching anatomy. We proposed to determine the satisfaction with the use of ChatGPT for studying Human Anatomy among students at the Faculty of Medicine of the Austral University of Chile (UACh). Methodology: A descriptive, cross-sectional, non- experimental study was conducted with a purposive sample of 124 first-year Human Anatomy students from seven different health science programs. Participants voluntarily completed a satisfaction scale consisting of 15 closed-ended Likert-scale questions that assessed anatomical accuracy, visual resources, impact on learning, and overall satisfaction. The instrument was administered digitally and demonstrated high reliability in the pilot test (Cronbach's alpha 0.90). Results: Most participants are users of the free version of ChatGPT (84.87%), using it mainly for the preparation of practical steps (53.78%) or theoretical exams (43.70%). High satisfaction and a positive impact of ChatGPT were evident, with over 90% perceiving it as an effective pedagogical resource; however, 53% were less satisfied with the generation of accurate images and visual quality. Conclusions: There is a high degree of student satisfaction with the use of ChatGPT for studying human anatomy. Students primarily value its theoretical accuracy, academic utility, and clarity of explanations, although they acknowledge relative limitations in the visual component.
